Every video is downloaded and charted with your selected difficulty, style, creator, tags and export settings; each song keeps its own title and artist. Videos already downloaded are not fetched again.

Difficulty
Choose your key count and target difficulty. Fine-tune every detail below.
Applies to every difficulty and every song in a playlist.
One .osz with a .osu per enabled difficulty — a real mapset. Click a name to toggle it, edit its target stars. Remembered for next time.
Advanced
Timing offset shifts the whole chart against the audio: if notes feel early, use a positive value; if they feel late, a negative one. Remembered for next time.
Pattern style
A hint for the mapper.
Metadata
Auto-filled from the source. Anything you type is kept. Creator and tags are remembered for next time.
Make it yours. These details appear in osu!’s song select. Creator and tags are remembered for next time.
Background & video
Whatever ships behind the notes.
Auto picks a video frame when there is video, else the thumbnail, else a gradient.
Pick a source to see which backgrounds are available. A video source can also play as the background.
Export
How the .osz is packaged.
osu! refuses beatmap submissions over its size limit. When checked, a video is re-encoded to a bitrate that fits (lower resolution when the budget is tight), then the audio bitrate is lowered, and as a last resort the video is dropped. Remembered for next time.

Played it and something felt wrong? Notes in the wrong place, a pattern that does not fit the song, anything you would have mapped differently: tell me on the Discord. Mapping feedback is the most useful thing you can send, and it is how this gets better.

If any of these came out wrong, or you would have mapped something differently, say so on the Discord. That is how the mapper improves.

What ManiaMapper does
ManiaMapper is a free osu!mania map generator: give it a song and the auto mapper writes a
playable 4K, 7K or 10K beatmap, following the drums, bass and vocals it hears and adjusting note density toward
your target star rating. Results show the measured difficulty; some songs or styles may fall short.
Use it in your browser with nothing to install, and download a .osz to drop into osu!. It is in beta, so treat the charts as
a strong starting point rather than finished ranked maps.
How it works
- Pick a source. Upload an audio or video file, or paste a YouTube link, one track or a whole playlist.
- Set the difficulty. Choose a target star rating and a pattern style, or choose Auto and let it pick what suits the song.
- Generate. The analysis finds the tempo and the onsets, the mapper places notes and long notes, then rebalances density toward your target star rating.
- Download the .osz. Open it and osu! imports the map into your song list.
Questions people ask
Is it free?
Yes, and there is no account. Upload a song or paste a link, generate, download. Nothing is kept beyond a day and nothing is charged.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs on the server and you get a file back. You only need osu! itself to play the result. There is also a portable build if you would rather run the whole thing on your own machine.
What is a .osz file, and how do I play it?
A .osz is osu!'s beatmap archive, a zip holding the .osu chart, the audio
and the background. With osu! installed, open it or drag it into the game window and it imports
itself.
Can I use a YouTube link?
Yes. Paste a video or a playlist link and the audio is fetched for you, optionally with the video as a background. A playlist can be charted song by song, or packed into one mapset so the tracks sit together in osu! the way difficulties do.
Can I generate 4K, 7K and 10K maps?
Yes. Choose four keys (4K), seven keys (7K) or ten keys (10K) in Chart → Difficulty. The choice applies to Go, manual settings, difficulty spreads and every song in a playlist, and is remembered for next time.
How good are the maps?
The rhythms follow the actual audio rather than a metronome. The 4K patterns are measured against statistics taken from hundreds of real ranked 4K charts; 7K and 10K charts have column-balance and playability checks but do not yet have a ranked chart comparison in the preview. They are not as good as maps made by hand, and this being beta you will still meet a stray note or an overlong hold. When you do, say so in the Discord, because that is what I tune against.
Can I upload the result to the osu! website?
Not as a ranked map. osu!'s ranking criteria requires that a beatmap's hit objects, hitsounds and
timing come from direct human input, without generative tooling. Keep it for yourself, share the
.osz, or treat it as a draft you rewrite by hand in the editor.
Does it work on mobile?
The site does. You can upload or paste a link from a phone and download the .osz.
Playing is the harder part: osu!lazer has Android and iOS builds, but mania on a phone screen is
cramped next to a keyboard.
Want another mode or a pattern style that is not there yet? Feature requests, and charts that came out wrong, both go in the Discord. That is what decides what I build next.
